I am in need of a couple of testers for one of my patterns. When I made this for my son I used a very thick/heavy yarn. I would like to sell the pattern and need some pictures of the finished product done in regular worsted weight yarn and a different color. Preferably for baby. If you are interested in testing this pattern for me please post a comment below letting me know why you want to test it and who you would give the finished product to. You also need to become a follower of my blog if you are not already one. Make sure you add your email address so that I have a way to contact you and send you the pattern. I will leave this open for a couple of weeks, so please post a comment on or before January 10, 2012. Winners will be selected at random. Thanks and I can't wait to read all of your comments.
As you can see he is big. His head is the same size as my 6 year old's.
You can now buy my patterns here on my blog, on Ravelry or in my Etsy shop.
oh how I wish I could crochet. If this was a knitting pattern i would love to help you out, but sadly I can't crochet. Good luck with finding some great testers :)
ReplyDeleteHe looks fantastic! I wish I had the time to make one but am full up at the moment. My son would love one but he'll have to wait a while ;-)
ReplyDeleteCute! Good luck with the testing. It'd look awesome in a cafe au lait colour, wouldn't it?
ReplyDeleteVery cute. Enjoy the testing!
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of worsted weight yarn I'm not using for anything... and will happily test it for you!

I would test it! My cousin is expecting her second child. I knit her first boy a hat and booties, so I'd love to crochet something for her new baby boy.
ReplyDeleteI might not be able to do it until February, though. I've got a sock knitting challenge going on over at my blog.

I'd love to test this blanket. I'm currently making baby blankets.
ReplyDeleteI'd donate this blanket to my Lutheran church's baby blanket program. Several times yearly, we have a baby christening ceremony during the regular church service. At that time, baby blankets are given to each family.
Hello
ReplyDeleteI am Muna and I crochet very well. I would be happy to test your pattern for you my email is muna.nana@gmail.com
do mark it imp if you still need testers.
Happy New Year to you all,
He's adorable.
ReplyDeleteIf you are trying to make this an easy pattern to follow, then I'm your gal for testing this. I'm okay with blankets, but just learning how to follow a pattern. If it's for more experienced crocheters, then you need to look somewhere else. (Plus, I have a ton of yarn to use!)
My sister-in-law is pregnant and I was just going to do a basic afghan, but would think this would be even better.
I'd love to help! I would make it for my brother and his wife who are expecting a baby boy very soon!
ReplyDeleteThis looks just like my favorite stuffed animal as a child. He was yellow with a white nose and brown ears. Well, the head part looks like him. Can I crochet him?
