Can you believe it is almost Christmas!! Tomorrow is CHRISTMAS EVE!!! Where has this month gone. Have you finished all your shopping?
We all loaded up Saturday and went to Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO.
I wish it had been a nice day like it is in this picture. It was about 32 degrees and raining like crazy. There were about a trillion people in that store and they were are grouchy!! Hubby was getting himself a new gun for Christmas and it took FOREVER! We finally abandoned him and went back to the car for snacks and a movie while we waited. There were just too many people. He learned when he was checking out that if it was raining or the weather was bad NEVER go to Bass Pro. That is when everyone shows up. They had over four inches of snow a week ago and people were flocking in. It was crazy!!
After we left there, we zipped back down to Branson and took the kids to the Splash Country Indoor Water Park at the Grand Country Inn.
When we got inside the building it was very warm. Then we got our suits on and found out in a hurry that the water was not heated in the winter. Three of us played anyway. Hubby however just stood and watched for the most part. He DOES NOT do cold water. Lulu and I hung out in the lazy river for awhile.
Then we went down both water slides and stood under the bucket a few times when it dumped. Then we finally had enough and loaded up and went home. (None of these pictures are from our trip. I found them on their websites.)
